Legal Agreement
Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 14, 2026 | Fleet Builders Logistics
1. Operating Scope & Purpose
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the platform, administrative tools, dispatch coordination, and back-office management services provided by Fleet Builders Logistics (“FleetBuilders”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), accessible via thefleetbuilders.com and affiliated subdomains. By registering, connecting equipment, or utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Independent Contractor Relationship
FleetBuilders provides logistics back-office administration, compliance facilitation, and load coordination. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as creating an employer-employee relationship, joint venture, or formal partnership between FleetBuilders and any driver, carrier, or fleet owner. Fleet operators maintain complete operational discretion over their equipment, driving hours, and operating decisions within FMCSA and DOT regulatory bounds.
3. Zero Out-of-Pocket Structure & Settlements
FleetBuilders operates on a success-aligned fee schedule. Administrative, dispatch, and compliance services carry zero upfront or out-of-pocket costs to the operator. Service fees are deducted directly from gross freight settlements upon collection. Weekly settlement statements will clearly delineate gross revenue, contracted lane rates, fuel deductions, insurance reserves, and administrative fees with absolute transparency.
4. Equipment, Licensure & Safety Compliance
Participating carriers and operators represent and warrant that all commercial vehicles are inspected, safe, and compliant with applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and state Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Drivers must maintain valid Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDL), medical certifications, and requisite commercial liability and cargo insurance coverage at all times.
5. Limitation of Liability
FleetBuilders shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising out of road delays, equipment breakdowns, weather anomalies, shipper detention, or force majeure events. Our maximum cumulative liability under these terms is strictly limited to the administrative fees retained by FleetBuilders on the specific load at issue.
